FAQ

What time does the show start?

Evening performances start at 7:30pm and matinees kick off at 3:00pm. Although we would advise arriving a bit earlier to walk down from the car park and set up camp.

Where can I park?

You can park in the car park next to Mother Meldrum's. This is free after 6:00.

Do you provide seating?

We don't supply seating so bring along your favourite camping chair, deck chair, rug or bean bag.

Can I bring my dog or pet?

Of course you can. This is Exmoor after all and pets deserve theatre too.

How do I get here?

Follow signs to Lynton and then stay on Lee road. Pass the Town Hall on your right and the Candle shop on your left and you will arrive at The Valley of Rocks. You are welcome to drive right up to the site to drop picnics and seating before going to park.

COVID-19

As an outdoor "venue" on a cliff edge we are well ventilated, however we will be asking our audience to respect social distancing and will be following all government guidelines regarding Covid-19. All our cast and team are vaccinated and testing regularly. We will be supplying hand sanitiser and ask that should you have any Covid symptoms you remain at home and join us another time. Thank you.

Can I buy food or drink there?

See pages on Perfect Picnics and Mother Meldrum's.

What happens if it's raining?

We understand that the weather is very changeable here. If you don't feel like sitting in the rain you are welcome to come on another night no questions asked. If it is looking abysmal all day we will make a decsion by 14:00 that will be announced on social media that we will be in the Town Hall.

Having trouble buying tickets online?

We appreciate that connection to the internet in Exmoor can sometimes be a little patchy so if you want to buy tickets just buy them on the door (Tent!)

Anything else I should know?

Other than seating and warm clothes do bring a torch to help you back to the car park. The way is lit with solar lights but it helps to have a strong torch.

We really hope you enjoy the show!
